Dubai Salik Toll Rates 2025: What Drivers Need to Know

If you're driving a rental car in Dubai, understanding Salik toll charges is important to avoid unexpected fines.

Salik is Dubai’s electronic toll collection system. It charges vehicles passing through specific toll gates across the city.

From 2025, toll charges have changed based on peak and off-peak hours.

Here are the current toll gates and their locations:

  1. Al Garhoud Bridge – On Sheikh Rashid Road

  2. Al Maktoum Bridge – Near Umm Hurair, toll applies only during peak hours

  3. Airport Tunnel – On Beirut Street, near Dubai International Airport

  4. Al Safa Gate – On Sheikh Zayed Road (Safa Park side)

  5. Al Barsha Gate – On Sheikh Zayed Road (near Mall of the Emirates)

  6. Jebel Ali Gate – On Sheikh Zayed Road (near Jebel Ali Industrial Area)

  7. Al Mamzar North – On Al Ittihad Road

  8. Al Mamzar South – On Al Ittihad Road

  9. Business Bay Crossing – Connecting Deira and Business Bay

  10. Dubai Creek Gate (newly proposed) – Might open mid-2025 (TBC)

 

Important Rule:

If you cross two gates (Al Mamzar North & South) within an hour in the same direction, you will be charged only once.

 

Fines for Salik Violations

If you're driving a rental car and do not have enough balance in your Salik account or fail to attach a valid tag, fines will apply.
